The 10 Best Spas in Las Vegas

10 Best Spas in Las Vegas

Best Spas in Las Vegas

Spas in Las Vegas are unrivaled in terms of sheer size and grandeur. Many of the spas, like the hotels, are big and ostentatious. Exotic European technologies such as laconiums (dry sweating chambers), hammams (steam baths), ice fountains, and water circuits are used in newer spas in Las Vegas, such as Sahra Spa & Hammam at The Cosmopolitan, The Spa at ARIA, and Qua at Caesars Palace.

However, it’s not all about the flash. Excellent masseurs and expert estheticians flock to Vegas. These are some of Las Vegas’ premier spas, some with breathtaking decor and extravagant treatments.

1. The Spa at Encore

Encore is the most gorgeous hotel ever built by Steve Wynn, the famed Vegas hotelier who also built the Bellagio and Wynn Las Vegas. Encore’s Spa is simply magnificent, blending grandeur and exquisite taste. Rich fabrics and Venetian glass chandeliers adorn the dressing room area, and the journey to the treatment rooms feels like entering a hallowed realm. The lovely garden suites, which have showers and plenty of natural light, are a big hit with us. The Nalu Body Massage, Lomi Lomi, hot stones, and scalp therapy and massage are among the spa’s offerings.

2. Bellagio Spa & Salon

The Bellagio Spa & Salon was the first truly lavish spa to open in Las Vegas, and it remains so today. It’s not just a massage; it’s an experience, with 65,000 square feet of treatment rooms, workout facilities, hot tubs, and plunge pools. The opulent hotel is designed to look like a Tuscan hamlet, complete with the world-famous Bellagio fountains in the foreground.

The salon is flashy with gold accents, while the spa above is calmer and more earthy, with charming details like illuminated jade tiles on the floor. It’s one of the only places in Vegas where you can receive a Watsu treatment, and the therapists are all fantastic. Watsu is a water-based version of Zen Shiatsu that combines stretching and Zen Shiatsu while gently floating in a private 95-degree pool.

3. Waldorf Astoria Spa & Salon

The Waldorf Astoria Spa & Salon—formerly the Spa at the Mandarin Oriental—is the most personal, elegant, and pricey spa on The Strip, and it’s part of CityCenter. The 27,000 square-foot spa, which spans two stories, was inspired by Shanghai in the 1930s. It mixes intimacy with cutting-edge spa technology, such as experiential showers, a beautiful hammam that can accommodate up to eight guests, and tile tepidarium chairs that make you feel comfortable while you gaze out at expansive Las Vegas views.

4. Vdara Hotel & Spa

On the Las Vegas Strip, this is one of the smaller, quieter spas. Vdara is a two-level, 16,000 square-foot spas with 11 treatment rooms and a stone fountain in the relaxation lounge, which is part of the $8.5 billion CityCenter hotel complex. You can start your rejuvenation trip with one of their unique European heat experiences, then progress through stimulating temperature changes before settling into a treatment room for a full day of treatments.

5. The Spa at ARIA

The ARIA Resort & Casino, the CityCenter’s main hotel, is one of Las Vegas’ most opulent properties. Its spa, at 80,000 square feet, is the largest in the world. Two revolutionary relaxation rooms with heated Japanese stone beds that radiate infrared heat and a salt meditation area with lounge chairs that vibrate to the music are among the 62 treatment rooms. It also includes private spa apartments that can accommodate up to four people, making it ideal for girls’ getaways.

6. Qua Baths & Spa at Caesars Palace

With six hotel towers spread out over 80 acres, Caesars Palace was the first of the mega-resorts and is still one of the most popular. Qua Baths & Spa at Caesars, at 50,000 square feet, is one of the city’s bigger spas, with an old Roman motif and three separate pools with varying degrees of temperature. In addition, the spa has 15 treatment rooms, wet rooms with Vichy showers, luxurious couple’s suites, four facial rooms, and a seasonally available outdoor bar and observation deck.

7. Canyon Ranch SpaClub at The Venetian & The Palazzo

This is Vegas’ largest spa, with 90 treatment rooms, three spa cafes, two gyms, a 40-foot rock-climbing wall, and a Bridal Suite spread across 134,000 square feet. Their Aquavana immersive suites, which comprise a HydroSpa, Finnish sauna, experiential rain showers, and an indoor igloo, will impress you. Traditional services such as nutritional advice are still available, but Strip Tease fitness programs are also popular in Vegas. Canyon Ranch is noted for its excellent massage therapists.

8. Sahra Spa, Salon, & Hammam at The Cosmopolitan

The Cosmopolitan is the swankiest hotel on the Strip, with sophisticated electronic art and rooms that overlook the Bellagio water fountain display next door if you’re lucky. The 14th-floor entryway to the Sahra Spa, Salon, & Hammam is lined with 420 tons of locally quarried sandstone, giving it an earthy Red Rock Canyon vibe. The 1,200 square-foot hammam includes a heated mother stone slab, two whirlpools, steam chambers, and stone loungers, and can accommodate up to three people. Three spa suites are available at Sahra, including an ultra-luxe penthouse suite with two whirlpool tubs and a wet bar. The pool and spa area are on the same floor.

9. The Spa at Wynn

The Wynn Spa is not as opulent as The Spa at Encore next door, yet it is relaxing and appealing. The Good Luck Ritual, an 80-minute service that includes a peppermint foot treatment, hand therapy, and herbal scalp massage, is the spa’s hallmark treatment. Airbrush tanning, oxygen-infused facials, and hot stone massages are among the spa’s other services. After that, relax on the sofa in the locker room, which features a fireplace and a faux marble fresco.

10. The Spa at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas

Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, which debuted in March 2021 not far from the Strip, repurposed the old Hard Rock Hotel’s unique but gorgeous spa. With black wood, brass studs, and magnificent clay tiles on the ceiling, the entrance has a gothic feel. There are a variety of treatments available, including the unique 80-minute “A Smashingly Good Spa Experience,” which includes a full-body scrub, full-body massage, hand and foot therapy, and scalp massage. FarmHouse Fresh organic beauty products are used at the spa, which is designed to give your skin a healthy glow on the move.
